Golden Golden Park on a sunny day is hard to beat. Even better, it provides perfect playground weather.  Prius and The Energy Playground challenged San Francisco to an alternative energy smackdown.  In this city, renowned for its bicycle commuters, bicycle messengers, and all around bicycle culture, the Energy Playground asked riders to contribute 3 minutes of their energy to earn a grid neutral, zero impact snow cone.  Riders could contribute their energy on Tour de Energy bikes or by riding on the Energy Seesaw.  San Francisco answered the call.  Riders of every kind pedaled or pushed their way to free snow cones.
Energy produced by the riders was banked in the Energy Well.  With new visualization software riders were able to watch as their energy production was shown on a monitor.  Some outstanding riders produced over 150Watts, way to go SF!
